Actually <span id=\"urn:enhancement-9c90a1ab\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-other\" itemid=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl01857\/entity\/faustina_kowalska\">Maria Faustyna Kowalska<\/span> was a nun from \u00a0<span id=\"urn:enhancement-ae0c5109\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-other\" itemid=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl01857\/entity\/zgromadzenie_zakonne\">Congregations<\/span> Sisters <span id=\"urn:enhancement-27e05276\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-other\" itemid=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl01378\/entity\/matka_boza\">Our Lady<\/span> Mercy. W <span id=\"urn:enhancement-179cf6f\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-other\" itemid=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl01378\/entity\/kosciol_katolicki\">Catholic Church<\/span> she is considered a saint. She is known above all as a preacher of the cult of <span id=\"urn:enhancement-e134a164\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-other\" itemid=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl01857\/entity\/milosierdzie_boze\">Of The Divine Mercy<\/span>. Sister is the author of the so-called Diary, in which she described all her spiritual and mystical experiences connected with the apparitions.<\/p>\n<p>Sister Faustina was born in 1905 in the village of Glogowiec. She experienced her first vision in 1924, during a dance party in the \"Venice\" park in Lodz. She saw the tormented Jesus, who instructed her to enter the <span id=\"urn:enhancement-ab4efefe\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-other\" itemid=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl01857\/entity\/i_zakon_franciszkanski\">order<\/span>. Maria, after many unsuccessful attempts, finally entered the house <span id=\"urn:enhancement-66a66285\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-other\" itemid=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl01857\/entity\/zgromadzenie_zakonne\">Congregations<\/span> Sisters <span id=\"urn:enhancement-bc2ca3ec\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-other\" itemid=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl01378\/entity\/matka_boza\">Our Lady<\/span> She was a member of the Mercy Society in Warsaw, where in 1926 she received <span id=\"urn:enhancement-55de9432\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-other\" itemid=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl01857\/entity\/marta_imie\">name<\/span> Faustina.<\/p>\n<p>Sister was experiencing <span id=\"urn:enhancement-601035d3\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-other\" itemid=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl01378\/entity\/objawienie\">revelations<\/span>until his death in 1938. W <span id=\"urn:enhancement-651b86d7\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-other\" itemid=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl01378\/entity\/objawienie\">revelations<\/span> The Lord gave Sister a series of commands and dictated her prayers. Sister wrote about all mystical events in her Diary. The first prayer is the Chaplet of <span id=\"urn:enhancement-cd399e86\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-other\" itemid=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl01857\/entity\/milosierdzie_boze\">Divine Mercy<\/span>. The Lord attached to it a promise that for every prayer said for some sinner, the Lord would give him grace <span id=\"urn:enhancement-985a368d\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-other\" itemid=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl01857\/entity\/metanoia_theology\">conversions<\/span>. Priests, in turn, were to give this prayer to the dying as a last resort for sinners.<\/p>\n<p>The Lord also commanded Faustina to pray at three o'clock in order to save sinners, for it is the hour of great <span id=\"urn:enhancement-36dfc306\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-other\" itemid=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl01378\/entity\/milosierdzie\">mercies<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>When Jesus commissioned Faustina to paint His picture, He expressed His wish that the second <span id=\"urn:enhancement-697b6162\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-other\" itemid=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl01857\/entity\/niedziela\">Sunday<\/span> after the Resurrection was the Feast <span id=\"urn:enhancement-b76aa60d\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-other\" itemid=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl01857\/entity\/milosierdzie_boze\">Of The Divine Mercy<\/span>. Further promises of the Lord are connected with this feast. On that day He pours out a whole sea of graces upon the souls who approach Him. He also confirmed the possibility of obtaining a plenary indulgence on that day.<\/p>\n<p>Jesus also complained in his <span id=\"urn:enhancement-62d83344\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-other\" itemid=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl01378\/entity\/objawienie\">revelations<\/span>. He complained of souls perishing despite his bitter torment for our <span id=\"urn:enhancement-9ae1d256\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-other\" itemid=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl01378\/entity\/zbawienie\">salvations<\/span>. So he commanded the spreading of his mercy and asks for the saving of men's souls.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"urn:enhancement-9cfa2e52\" class=\"textannotation disambiguated wl-other\" itemid=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl01378\/entity\/objawienie\">Revelations<\/span> They lasted until 1938.
