What did the people put on the road on which the Lord Jesus rode?<\/p>\n

This question is related to the story telling of the entry of the Lord Jesus into the Jerusalem<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Shortly after healing the two blind beggars, the Lord reached Betfage<\/span> i Bethany<\/span> to the Mount of Olives and instructed the two to students<\/span> bringing a donkey to him. Jesus headed off on the donkey to Jerusalem<\/span>. The people, having heard of this, went out to meet Him. They began to put their cloaks on his path. Then the people also took palm branches, and praised the Lord with words: Blessed<\/a><\/span> The king who comes in the name of Yahweh<\/span>they started throwing these branches in front of him.<\/p>\n

Jesus entering the Jerusalem<\/span> He referred to the tradition that the new king rode into town on a donkey. The people, of course, welcomed him with enthusiasm. The Lord then headed for the temple where he met sick, lame and blind people. The Lord Jesus healed them all.<\/p>\n

An account of the event, which was the entry of the Lord Jesus into the Jerusalem<\/span> were drawn up by all four evangelists<\/span>. In all the stories the entry is a great triumph received by the people with great enthusiasm.<\/p>\n

And what did the people put on the road on which the Lord Jesus rode? They were cloaks and palm branches. The people thus showed their support and their joy toward the Lord.
