Then they came to him Pharisees, who wanted to put Him to the test, and asked Him the question, Is it permissible to dismiss one's wife for any reason? He replied: Have you not read that Creator from the beginning created them as male and female?

And he said provisionthat for this very reason he would leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they would be one body. So they are no longer two, but one body. "So what God has joined together, let no man put asunder." [(Matthew 19:3-6)]

In the times of consumerism, where family is more and more often put in the background, it is more and more difficult to understand the true meaning of these words. And yet everyone, or at least a large majority of us, has more than once been witnesses that sentence during the wedding ceremony. At this point in the wedding, each of us is called to witness.

These words confirm inseparability marriage and oaths submitted to himself and, more importantly, to By God. Unfortunately, as has already been mentioned, many forget, or perhaps do not even understand, the seriousness of a given oaths.

Nowadays we are looking for more and more wickets, leading to the end of marriage, to annulment oaths ...offered before the altar. Such matters shall be decided church courtwho is forced to take a full responsibility for their decisions.

So let us remember that the word given to God is something very important. Let us think whether we are really aware of the words that we so often throw to the wind.
