In what year did Jesus die?

We don't know exactly when Jesus died. But we know from the Bible that he was crucified on Wednesday the 10th of Nisan in the Jewish lunar-solar calendar, around 30 AD. (This coincided with April 3 to 4). He was buried before sunset on Friday in a nearby family tomb Joseph and rose from the dead on Sunday morning after sunrise on Saturday night.

You may have heard that Jesus died By crucifixion. But do you know what day he was crucified? It's Wednesday, April 10, 30 AD. What does this date mean for us? It is a special day! That means it is April 3-4 on the modern calendar and it is the first time we can be sure when Jesus died because He was buried before sunset on Friday and rose after sunrise on Sunday morning.
The day before he died, Jesus was preparing to begin his new life. For years he had been going to the market with his family and friends on Fridays, but this time was different. They were only going on this Friday because it was Passover.
