Did Mary have more children? Is Jesus Was he the only child of Mary? This is another question related to the Dogma of the Immaculate Conception and the special role Mary occupies in the life of every Christian. The Mother of God had already promised to keep her virginity, and to fully consecrate herself to God, before the Annunciation of the Archangel Gabriel. This consecration confirms her full devotion to the cause. It also implies that Mary remained pure to the end. It can therefore be said with certainty that Mary had no more children. Jesus Christ is Mary's only child.
