How to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy? The Chaplet is a prayer dedicated to the Divine Mercy mystery; an expression of people's forgiveness and love for God. It is a set of prayers that are repeated a certain number of times, usually with rosaries. The Chaplet to the Divine Mercy was given to Sister Faustina Kowalska by Saint Faustina himself. We begin the Chaplet by saying the following prayers: the Our Father, the Hail Mary, and the Belief in God. Then we use the rosary. On the large beads we say "Eternal Father, I offer you my body and BloodThe soul and divinity of your most beloved Son, our Lord Jesus ChristFor our sins and those of the whole world". And on the small beads, "For his sorrowful Passion, have mercy for us and of the whole world" ten times. At the end of the Chaplet, we say "Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world" three times.
When and where to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy? Most often, the Chaplet is recited in community, during church services. However, nothing prevents you from saying it on your own. In churches, the Chaplet is usually recited on Friday, the day of Jesus' death.
