Telekinesis in parapsychology belongs to a broader group of concepts collected under the common name of psychokinesis or anomalous perturbation. It refers to the ability to move objects by the power of the mind. Around telekinesis for years there have already been disputes among theologians, priests and other people who have any opinion on the spiritual life. Where to look for the golden mean? Is telekinesis a sin, or should we just be careful with it?

It is difficult to make a clear assessment of this issue because Church Catholic does not have what we might call a "catalog of sins." Many things depend on the circumstances and situation of the believer. Nevertheless, there are activities that are strongly discouraged by the Church because of their nature. These are activities associated with magic and the occult, among others. One of them is telekinesis.

There are both God, as well as Satan. Each of them has its own tools with which it tries to get to a person, but it is up to each person to choose whom. For this reason, the Church wishes to warn believers against actions that can open the door to the Evil One and allow him to operate on a wider scale. So is telekinesis a sin? It is difficult to say objectively. The easiest way would be to consult a spiritual director and discern for yourself how the world works.
