As we repeat every Sunday in the Creed, we acknowledge as true that Jesus Christ "He was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary." Mary, as the Mother of God incarnate, and at the same time the person chosen by the Father, occupies one of the central places in the teaching of the Church. In order for the Son of Man to complete his work, he first had to be born. This became possible thanks to Mary.

According to the teaching of the Church, Mary was taken up to heaven with body and soul after her death. Through her life, marked by hard work and great suffering and devotion to God, she won graces that no other human being has ever received. Because of her life, and the extraordinary works that she God accomplished through Mary for humanity, Church Since the early centuries, she has been worshipped. Over the years, her worship has grown, and today in Poland it is extremely widespread. Why, then, do we pray to the Mother of God? Because, as the mother of JesusShe is also the mother of His body, the Church. Therefore, everyone who belongs to it can say that his mother is also the Mother of God and to her - as to a mother - he turns in prayer.
