As we mentioned earlier, Medjugorie is a place that lies in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country in the southeastern part of Europe. Bosnia and Herzegovina is not a member of the European Union, however entry into the country is not difficult. EU citizens can enter Bosnia and Herzegovina with a valid passport or identity card (including minors). Thus, a passport is not necessary to visit Medjugorie. At the border, it is required to present a negative test for coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 type PCR (the so-called genetic test, molecular test, in the form of a swab) performed within 48 hours from the date of the test. This rule applies to everyone irrespective of age, including children and applies to entries into BiH, including Medjugorje. The test can also be done in Poland or in Croatia. There is no quarantine.
