As mentioned earlier Easter is a holiday that has different dates from year to year. It is a so-called movable holiday. No wonder, then, that every year there are lots of questions about the dates of holidays that fall on Easter, especially from people who count on a break from school or work or simply try to plan everything in advance and be sure of their deadlines. At Easter consists of so-called Paschal Triduum. We start celebrating in Maundy Thursday, Good Friday i Holy Saturdayfollowed by the usual Sunday Easter. The Easter break from school therefore starts on Thursday 18 April 2019.

on the day after Easter Sunday falls Monday Easter. It is called Lany Monday (or Śmigus-Dyngus), which is a day when people customarily pour water on each other and it is also a day off from school. Tuesday 23 April is also a public holiday.

The school holiday break will therefore last for 6 days, including a 2-day weekend, and will run from 18 (Thursday) to 23 April (Tuesday).

Unfortunately, those who have already finished their school education cannot count on such luck. easterbut by law, the only public holiday will be Easter Monday, which is April 22, 2019.
