What is it Church Domestic? Home Church is a lay movement in the Church. It is a family and marriage movement (for marriages), which is inspired by the spirituality and life of the saint Francis Blachnicki. It is, in a way, an offshoot of the so-called Movement Light-Life, which in turn brings together people of all ages and condition: youth, children, adults but also priests whether monks. Church home was established in 1973.

Traffic Home Church It usually takes place in parishes. Families participating in and belonging to the movement meet in so-called circles. Circles consist of approximately 4 to 7 marriages. Meetings are usually held in the home of one of the families.

This family then becomes the animating couple and is responsible for the entire meeting. Everything is supervised by priestwho also becomes a mentor. An important moment for each circle is the family trip to the retreat Formation trips, which usually take place in the summer. These are thematic trips organized by parish. Church Domestic is guided by its principles. The main tenets are:

Valuing marital love, that is, convincing about the strength and permanence that marital love brings,

Family as:

  • church home,
  • catachumenate,
  • community.

Church The home is therefore meant to represent the strength that marriage brings to both people. It is meant to spread family values and show how important a community the family is.

The patroness of the whole movement and of all the families that belong to it is the Mother of God.
