In a way, the answer to this question has already been given in another part of this article, concerning the different colors of the sky and their relationship to Divine signs. Here we will try to focus on pure physics and at least for a while move away from topics related to our religion.

As we already know, our physical Heaven that we see every day has little to do with the Biblical Heaven that is the destination of every believing soul. However, the Heaven that surrounds us and that we look at every day is created by God. It was the Lord who gave it the shape we encounter every day. It is . God governs the phenomena that occur on it and cause it to look the way it does.

Why is the sky blue / why is the sky blue? The colour of the sky and the clouds on it depends on the optical phenomena occurring in it. The main optical phenomenon in this case is the scattering and refraction of sunlight by particles on its surface. By particles we mean here e.g. water drops, ice crystals and various types of dust suspended in the air. The colour of the sky or rather the dispersion of light depends to a large extent on the chemical composition of the atmosphere.

Everything we see with the human eye is the result of the sun's rays reflecting off an object as they reach our eye. A clear blue sky is the result of the air scattering solar radiation through the earth's atmosphere.

If the atmosphere did not exist or light was not scattered by it, then we would see the black space of space. The sky would appear black to us and stars would be visible in the daytime. The scattering of rays by the atmosphere is caused by the molecules of the gases that make up the atmosphere, which are much smaller than the wavelength of sunlight.

Light that interacts with these particles undergoes what is called Rayleigh scattering. The scattering of such a wave is greatest for violet colored light, but because of the low intensity of violet in the spectrum and by the characteristics of the human eye, the sky is blue.
