Why do we say that Mary is the Mother who understands everything? In answering this question it is good to begin again with the role that God He assigned to Mary, and we remember that this role was a special one. It was Mary who was to give birth Jesus Christ, while dedicating herself fully to our Lord. She prepared for this role all her life and promised to fulfill it. Mary is an example of obedience for each of us and a guideline that should point the way for all the faithful. The Mother of God in the Christian faith is surrounded by special veneration.

She is called the Queen of Poland, and in her honour we celebrate numerous feasts, through which we address her directly as our intercessor in Heaven. It is Mary who is the intercessor who vouches for each of us before Our Lord, it is in her that we can find refuge and understanding. Moreover, Mary is the mother of each one of us. There is no better person we can turn to than a Mother.

All of this, from Our Lady's special, enormous role in the history of our faith, to her life of example, to her intercession for the faithful in the Kingdom of Heaven, to her being a beacon of kindness, peace and understanding, makes her a Mother who understands everything. Let us not forget that we have someone with us who is there to help us even in the most difficult moments.
