Can souls see us? We find no passage in Scripture that even comes close to answering this question. As Catholics, we believe in eternal life, which has become for us possibly, after the martyr's death Jesus on the cross. However, we are not sure what really history to the soul of the deceased after death.

Church Catholic puts forward the theory that all souls go to Purgatory. From there, depending on how many sins we had on our conscience and how fervently the living pray for us, we end up in Heaven or are condemned to eternal damnation. The problem is that this theory is not even confirmed in the Bible.

The passages about eternal life found in Scripture are very scant and vague. Heaven is mentioned Jesus, saying "In my Father's house are many dwellings; if it were otherwise, I would be to you said". Proof of the fact that some souls will go to Heaven and some to Hell is a quote from the Christ "And they shall go hence: those to eternal damnation, and the righteous to eternal life."

As you can see, we cannot answer the question of whether souls can see us. We know, however, that there is eternal life; those who have ended their lives on Earth are in Heaven or Hell. Whether the souls of the dead are among us and whether they observe our actions remains in the realm of conjecture. However, the fact is that there are many testimonies of people who saw their loved ones after their death; they talked to them and felt their presence. Perhaps we do not realize how close the souls of the dead are to us....
