What did Christ look like?

It is therefore with great certainty that He must be pictured with a slightly dark, olive complexion. According to the biblical accounts, all we know is that Christ's appearance was pretty average and he didn't stand out from the crowd. There is also some doubt about His hairstyle, because in those days it was considered shameful to wear long hair. Christ therefore most likely had short, dark hair, Shiite facial features and wore a beard.

We should also remember about the existence of the Turin Shroud which has been regarded as the true reflection of Christ's image for years. His body was wrapped in the shroud immediately after the crucifixion and the image of the face and the whole silhouette of the Son of God was supposed to be preserved on it. However, there is no certainty about the authenticity of the shroud which has been questioned many times over the years.
